3) How it Works
As always, we look to do an unconventional scoring system to make it more interesting. I have always hated (with a burning passion) how stupid the standard scoring is for march madness brackets. You could get every single pick right in the first two rounds but if you don’t get the winner right you have no chance.
To make things more interesting, we are doing a “Seed * Round” bracket. For example, if you pick #1 seed Duke to beat #16 seed Siena in the first round (aka round 1), you would earn [ 1 x 1 = 1 point]. However, if you want to be a psychopath and pick #16 Siena to beat #1 Duke in Round 1, you would earn [ 16 x 1 = 16 points].
It is impossible to know with 100% certainty any of the matchups beyond round 1, but let’s say you pick #9 TCU to make it to the sweet sixteen. Regardless of who they play in Round 2, if #9 TCU wins the second round, you would win [9 x 2 = 18 points].
If you pick a number #1 seed to win the entire thing, you would only earn [ 1 x 6 = 6 points] from them winning the championship game, AKA round 6. However, you would have earned 1,2,3,4,5 and then 6 points for each of their wins in Rounds 1-6 for a total of 21 points. If you picked #2 seed Houston to win the entire thing and they did, you would have earned 2,4,6,8,10, and 12 points for all of their wins throughout the tournament for a total of 42 points.
I saw this scoring system on a reddit thread and thought it would be interesting. I like how it encourages you to pick upsets and makes it possible that someone can win the entire pool without getting the winner right if they crush the beginning rounds. If that sounds confusing (it is confusing) or if you are someone who doesn’t care about sports, just pick randomly or have someone help you out!

4) Prizes
The base prize pool is $1,500, which will be split among the top 5 finishers as follows:Â
1st = $450
2nd = $375
3rd = $300
4th = $225
5th = $150
There is also a payout multiplier based on how many people you have referred to Boost and referral activity during April.
Â
5) Lifetime Referral Multiplier
Just like previous giveaways, there is a payout multiplier based on how many people you have referred to Boost.
Non Boost Clients = 0.5x payout
0 referrals = 0.75x payout
1 referral = 1x payout
2 referrals = 1.25x payout
3 referrals = 1.5x payout
4 referrals = 1.75x payout
5 referrals = 2x payout
6 referrals = 2.25x payout
7 referrals = 2.5x payout
8 referrals = 2.75x payout
9 referrals = 3x payout
10 referrals = 4x payout (maximum tier)
If you are a Boost client with 3 referrals and you finish 2nd, your payout would be: $375 Ă— 1.5 = $562.50.
Clients who reach 10 lifetime referrals unlock the maximum giveaway multiplier tier as a thank-you for helping grow the Boost community.
Â
6) April Referral Bonus
To encourage spreading the word this month, participants may earn additional multiplier bonuses through referral activity during April.
If someone you invite engages with Boost, the following bonuses may apply:
Friend joins the Masters pool → +0.25x multiplier
Friend completes a Boost intro call → +0.5x multiplier
Friend completes their first Boost promotion → +0.75x multiplier
Intro calls must occur between the giveaway announcement and 7 days after the Masters tournament begins. Client must complete first Boost promotion within 3 days of their intro call. These bonuses stack and may increase your payout multiplier. Overall maximum multiplier capped at 5x.Â
Â
7) Charity
Boost will donate $100 to the charity of their choosing for each of the top 5 finishers. Since Boost started these monthly giveaways in 2025, $9,095 has been donated to Charity!
Â
8) Have fun!
As most of you know we are exclusively word of mouth at Boost and the door is always open for new clients.
I know it can be tough convincing people Boost is legit, but if it comes up feel free to share your dashboard with them. You can find your dashboard on the home page of the Boost app.
If you're watching the Masters with friends this weekend, showing them your dashboard is usually the easiest way to explain what Boost is.
The average Boost client takes home around $4,600 from doing it.
Depending on your specific life situation $4,600 might not seem like a lot, but that could be make or break for somebody dealing with a medical bill, student loans, or an unexpected home repair.Â
We've helped 1,278 clients and counting!Â
